A PERSISTENT FOG
This series explores the persistence of climate change debate and how it is dealt with and experienced across society. Two characters are presented on the climate saga stage, each charged with the task of dealing with a persistent fog. Their strategies vary depending on how they approach the problem. Whilst the core of my concerns relates to response to
climate change, the fog could be seen to represent many things – uncertainty, a lack of clarity, an ongoing obstacle, an environmental anomaly, contamination etc. The inappropriateness of our strategies, tools and assurances presents an ongoing theatre, and the whimsical presentation of a serious problem reflects my own sense of helplessness and incredulity with the situation.
