Our '5 ways to light a cyclorama' workshop was a hoot!
Thanks to all the participants in our second workshop on how to light a cyclorama. We had a really great time!
Our ‘5 Ways to Light a Cyclorama’ demonstration turned into a 6-light setup only to be stripped back to 2 lights for our final setup.
We wanted to play with the idea of a white-on-white shoot and demonstrated how to under-expose the cyclorama in this case, to create a darker background for separation.
Our model Sarah Jeavons did an awesome job and participants got stuck into light metering and prop wrangling in equal measure. Shaun Li from Capture the Present did a great job guiding Sarah’s poses, as seen here LOL, and it was great to have some staff from Diamonds Camera on hand for tech support and BTS (we look forward to seeing the footage).
Everyone enjoyed seeing the Profoto lighting in action for a series of setups building from one light to six. Stay tuned for outtakes from this fun workshop!
