Photographic Assistant
We have a highly experienced crew of assistants available to support your shoot. Having an assistant who is familiar with the space and equipment is useful for an efficient setup and smoothly-run shoot.
Assistants can help with more than lighting setup – our crew knows where all the chairs, stools, tables and reflectors are kept, and can easily access shoot accessories like clamps, backdrops and image review monitors. They can help with making coffee for clients and talent, welcome crew as they arrive, and connect the bluetooth speakers for a suitable playlist for your shoot.
Assisting Includes
- Opening up the studio before your shoot
- Turning on lights, coffee machine & music
- Support bringing in and setting up lighting
- Welcoming clients, crew and talent and showing them to their work areas
- Assisting your tethered shooting station, connecting the large monitor
- Light metering and advice with lighting
- Support setting up backdrops, reflectors etc
- Helping coordinate and set up props and shoot products
- Cleaning up after the shoot
- Packing up and locking up securely
