Acting For Screen Workshop - Day Two
It was really wonderful to host this amazing 2-day workshop at the studio for local acting school ‘Play Every Day’. It was a perfect collaboration with both creative businesses based in the same town (Macclesfield), presenting a top quality workshop with other presenters from the Adelaide Hills.
Day Two of the ‘Acting For Screen’ workshop was once again facilitated by the effervescent Rachael Williams at Play Every Day Actors Studio, and she did an amazing job working with this wonderful group of teens.
This was another jam-packed day starting with selecting outfits for their headshots and discussing camera-confidence and how to handle the headshot experience. Then Sam Oster (Watermark Crossing’s resident photographer and manager) worked with each participant to get their very first headshots while the others worked on their monologues.
After the headshot shoot the amazing local actor and acting coach Nick Launchbury set up his camera and lighting to guide the participants during their monologue filming.
The 2-day workshop was incredible and it’s amazing that these emerging young stars have gone home with not only industry-specific knowledge, experience and understanding, but their first professional headshots, and monologues on film! It was an absolute pleasure to host this workshop!
