Coming in 2025
The Macclesfield studio is almost ready to reveal! After many years of development (and much back-and-forth with the local council and builders) the new space is finally being furnished and getting ready for action! Here are some images of how the space is looking at the dawn of 2025. We still have more rugs to put on the floor, and some office furniture for the mezzanine to find, but it’s delightful that the vast majority of the furnishing has come from the Norwood studio, the main house, or second-hand via Marketplace.
We are yet to get the final tick from council with a bit of fire safely paperwork to submit, but in the meantime we are almost ready to officially open the doors of this delightful new Adelaide-Hills photography studio and workshop space!
The name ‘Watermark Crossing’ refers to the location of the studio. We are positioned along a waterway, with on-site dams filling and drying up with the seasons. The watermark rises and falls, and we loved the idea of acknowledging the landscape. The studio is accessible via 2 boardwalks and 2 bridges that cross the waterway – hence the ‘crossing’ p[art of the name. We love it and hope it resonates with people.
