Adelaide Hills Headshot Days - Headshot Laboratory

Welcome to Headshot Laboratory’s 2026 sessions in the Adelaide Hills!

(We know that our Norwood studio is a practical venue for most people, but we want to reach Adelaide’s hills-dwellers by offering shoot days for Headshots and Portraits in the studio at Watermark Crossing on special days each month.

The pricing for these shoots is the same as for the Norwood studio. Once your booking is received for your nominated package, Sam will contact you to book the date and time that best suits you. The system names the sessions ‘tickets’ as it’s an event booking system – please complete your booking and payment using the ‘read more’ booking system to the right here and use the ‘tickets’ to select your package.

Shoots can be booked between the times of 10am and up to 8pm, so after-hours shoots are welcome if that’s easier for you. Simple!

These are the shoots (tickets) that are available:

BASIC HEADSHOT PACKAGE $325 + GST

30-minute headshot shoot
white and / or grey background
Up to 2 outfit changes
1 retouched image included

STANDARD HEADSHOT PACKAGE $525 + GST

1-hour headshot shoot
white and / or grey background
headshot PLUS Mid-shot if required
Up to 4 outfit changes
3 retouched images included

PORTFOLIO HEADSHOT PACKAGE $725 + GST

3-hour headshot shoot
white and / or grey background PLUS alternative backgrounds including environmental portraits using the gorgeous studio environs
headshot PLUS Mid-shot AND wide / full-length if required
Up to 6 outfit changes and up to 3 changes in hair / makeup
6 retouched images included

LOCATION :: WATERMARK CROSSING, MACCLESFIELD

The studio is a fantastic new space on the main street of Macclesfield, set back amongst beautiful tress on a 1-acre property. There is parking available either on the grass near the studio gate (in Summer only) or down the residence driveway in one of the parking bays. Sam will welcome you when you arrive and walk you over to the studio. Please note that you may need to walk across a boardwalk and small bridge in Winter so please reach out if you have any accessibility issues regarding a short walk. Sam will assist you with clothing and bags. If necessary you may also be able to park at the studio entrance so please let Sam know if you need to park closer.

Sam Oster runs Watermark Crossing and Cog Creative Space and has over 30 years’ experience as a working freelance photographer. She runs Silvertrace, servicing arts & entertainment clients (film & TV, dance, theatre & music clients) as well as commercial clients (product, event, schools & corporate photography). She also runs Headshot Laboratory, specialising in actors headshots and corporate headshots, both in the studio and on location. Sam has a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours, Photography Major), as well as a Diploma in Photoimaging and a Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment. She has been teaching for over 20 years’, has taught extensively at the Centre For Creative Photography, The University of South Australia, and TAFE SA.
