The Image Collector Book Launch

Our first event! Macclesfield local John Gitsham held the book launch for his third book ‘The Image Collector’ at Watermark Crossing yesterday. Invited guests enjoyed the cool of the studio on another sweltering March day, and with champagne flowing and a fantastic speech by Ed Douglas (John’s photography lecturer from UniSA’s SA School of Art) it was a wonderful afternoon. The Image Collector is published by Moonglow Publishing, also based in Macclesfield, and the publisher had a range of interesting books available for sale.

It was lovely to see how well the space could accommodate an artist talk and launch event. We are looking forward to hosting more events as we move towards an official opening with a workshop program.
